Using Bridget

Bridget is a free beta product: photograph your fridge or pantry, and Bridget uses AI to identify what you have, track what’s expiring, and suggest meals to cook before food goes to waste. By creating an account or using Bridget, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

AI-generated content — check it yourself

The ingredients Bridget identifies from your photos, and the recipes it suggests, are generated by an AI model. AI makes mistakes: it can misidentify an ingredient, get a quantity wrong, or write a recipe step that doesn’t quite work. Always look at what Bridget detected before saving it, and use your own judgment when cooking — Bridget is a starting point, not a substitute for common sense in your kitchen.

Food safety and allergens are your responsibility

Bridget does not know your allergies, dietary restrictions, or the actual condition of the food in your kitchen. Recipe suggestions and expiry estimates are AI-generated guidance, not food-safety advice — Bridget cannot see, smell, or verify anything. Before you cook or eat, always check that ingredients are actually safe to use, confirm doneness yourself, and verify any recipe against your own allergies and dietary needs. Bridget is not responsible for illness, allergic reaction, or any harm resulting from food prepared based on its suggestions.

Beta access & invitations

Bridget is currently invite-only: joining the waitlist reserves your place, and we email an invitation when a spot opens. Beta features, limits (like monthly scan counts), and this invite gate may change as the product develops.

Your data: deletion and export

You can permanently delete your account and everything linked to it at any time from Settings — this is instant and automatic. You can also request deletion, or a copy (export) of your data, any time via our contact form — see the Privacy Policy for exactly what we store and why.

Changes
